About Lily

Trauma-Informed Integrative Somatic Therapist. Breathwork Facilitator. Embodied Nutritional Therapist. Women's Facilitator. Ceremonialist. But first and foremost, a human, walking the path.

My work weaves together integrative somatic therapy, breathwork, nutritional therapy, embodied movement, sacred ceremony, energetics and body work. They do not exist as separate offerings but as different doorways into the same homecoming. The body as the guide and presence as the practice that facilitate the return home.

But this isn't work I came to through studying alone. I came to it through my own journey.

For over a decade, I lived through anorexia, bulimia and addiction coupled with crippling anxiety and depression. Alongside that came years of hormonal disruption, chronic digestive issues, insomnia and a profound disconnection and dissociation from my body and self.

I tried everything - psychotherapy, CBT, hypnotherapy, medications, clinical treatment, and even two stints in residential rehab. It wasn't until I turned toward the body and got genuinely curious about what I was carrying - the trauma, the shame, the parts battling within - and began working with my body rather than against it, that something finally began to shift.

Just as I was finding my way back into my body, I suffered a debilitating spinal injury, and the chronic pain that followed asked something new of me. I had to re-establish that connection all over again, in a different way, in a different form, learning to trust a body that, once again, I felt completely disconnected from.

It didn't happen all at once, and the journey is still always unfolding through many different paths and processes. Slowly, gently, with presence and devotion, I began to call back the parts of me I had been running and hiding from. I learned, and I am still learning daily, to gently inhabit myself again, and to trust the intelligence that has always existed beneath the noise.

The journey has brought me back to life. And it forms the foundation of everything I hold space for now.

Professional training always provides the foundations and container, but life experience gives depth, resonance, heart and most of all, humanness.

My professional training in the fields and modalities I work with began in 2014, and provide the structure, science, and therapeutic grounding that underpin my work. Alongside that, it's been my own lived experience and the many modalities I've moved through, studied, unlearned and returned to over the years, that have shaped what I actually know in my bones rather than just in my head. That's where the real wisdom lives, not in any single training, but in what's been tested, questioned, and lived through.

Since 2018, I have been deepening my work within ceremonial spaces, working closely with Indigenous wisdom carriers across Central and South America. My path has included deep personal study with traditional healing traditions rooted in the wisdom of the Earth. Through this study, I support and hold others through profound journeys of healing, reconnection, and integration. I weave these lineages with humility, reciprocity and reverence into the spaces I hold. They shape the way I guide: with grounded presence, energetic awareness and reverence to honouring what is sacred.

I am committed to this path, learning and unlearning, discovering and rediscovering, and I remain a student of life and of learning, every day.

Outside of all of this, you will usually find me outside with the animals, in the fields, in the woods, by rivers and near oceans. Around sacred fires, dancing barefoot and singing. Learning about plants and creating potions from the gifts of the land. Collecting handmade traditional textiles and art on my travels. And mostly, always, learning to engage and be present with all that life is.
