Group Breathwork Guidelines
Welcome to a sacred and transformative space where we journey together through breath to release, heal, and reconnect with our inner wisdom. To ensure that everyone has the best possible experience, please take a moment to read through these guidelines.
1. Set an Intention:
Before we begin, take a quiet moment to reflect on your intention for this session. Whether you’re looking for clarity, healing, or simply deep relaxation, holding this intention can guide and support your breathwork journey.
2. Create a Comfortable Space:
Find a quiet, comfortable spot where you can lie down or sit with ease. Use cushions, blankets, or anything else to help you feel supported. This is your space to relax and allow the breath to do its work.
3. Hydrate and Dress Comfortably:
Please ensure you are well-hydrated before the session. Wear loose, comfortable clothing so that you can move freely and allow your breath to flow naturally.
4. Respect Your Body:
If at any point during the session you feel discomfort or need to adjust your position, feel free to do so. It’s important that you listen to your body. You can always slow your breath, take a pause, or stop altogether if needed.
5. Breathe in a Natural Rhythm:
During the session, focus on the breathing technique we will practice together. It’s important to maintain a steady and rhythmic flow of breath—deep, conscious, and continuous. If at any time you feel overwhelmed, ease back into a gentler rhythm.
6. Honor the Collective Energy:
While breathwork is a deeply personal experience, we’re all here in the circle together. Hold space for others, and remember that each person is on their own unique journey. Please refrain from speaking, making noise, or interrupting the space during the practice.
7. Trust the Process:
The breath is a powerful tool for healing, and sometimes emotions, physical sensations, or visions may arise. Trust that whatever you experience is part of your process. Let go of expectations and allow yourself to be guided by the breath.
8. Aftercare:
Once the breathwork session ends, take time to rest and integrate the experience. You may want to journal, reflect, or simply sit in stillness. Honor any emotions or sensations that arise and give yourself permission to fully experience them.
9. Support is Available:
If you feel you need support or have questions after the session, please reach out to me. I am here to help you navigate your experience and ensure you feel grounded and supported.
